YSRCP Faces Another Setback As Karumuri Ravichandra Reddy Resigns And Joins BJP

YSR Congress Party is continuing to remain in turmoil following the 2024 elections, where the senior leadership of the party has been more and more out of the party. The National Spokesperson of the party, Karumuri Ravichandra Reddy has quit the role and joined BJP.

Ravichandra Reddy, a keen supporter and staunch supporter of YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy had put in his resignation letter but he directly addressed the resignation letter to the Party Leader. Well within days, after resigning from his duties, Reddy joined BJP as a member when Daggubati Purandeshwari was present who claimed that probably it had come in his mind some time.

Ravichandra Reddy’s resignation is a jolt for YSRCP, which is currently reeling under a severe scarcity of loudmouths within its ranks. His resignation follows reports that he was not happy with the party leadership and influence of people over the ranks of leadership, which is believed to have pushed him to resign.

While it has long been speculated, the resignation of Ravichandra Reddy does throw into the picture the ongoing internal conflicts within YSRCP. In the midst of its growing problems with a revolving door for leaders, it remains to be seen how the party will shape its strategies going into elections.
