YSR Congress Party Reshuffles Leadership In Preparation For Future Elections

After facing a significant setback in the general elections, the YSR Congress Party is actively working to regain its strength and strengthen its grassroots foundation. As part of this effort, the party has appointed new in-charges for several key constituencies, including Mangalagiri, to ensure better organization and coordination on the ground.

This restructuring process is gaining momentum, particularly with the central NDA government promoting the One Nation, One Election initiative, which has sparked discussions about simultaneous elections. In anticipation of these potential changes, YS Jagan is prioritizing the fortification of the party’s base across the state.

Regional coordinators have already been appointed, with senior leaders entrusted with critical responsibilities. While some leaders continue in their roles, the restructuring of their areas of responsibility reflects the party’s intent to adapt to changing dynamics.

YS Jagan has accelerated this reorganization process. With his upcoming district tour scheduled for the end of the month, the appointment of booth-level committees is advancing swiftly. Several state-level leadership positions have already been filled, and district presidents have been appointed. The selection of general secretaries and spokespersons is still ongoing. Additionally, new coordinators have been assigned to constituencies in North Andhra to further strengthen the party’s reach.

Noteworthy changes include the appointment of new coordinators for the Anakapalli Lok Sabha constituency and five assembly constituencies. The YSR Congress Party’s central office has issued an official statement to announce these changes.

Key appointments include:

Karanam Dharmashree as the observer for the Anakapalli parliamentary constituency.
Former Minister Gudivada Amar Nath will oversee the Chodavaram assembly constituency.
Former Deputy CM Budi Mutyala Naidu continues as the coordinator for Madugula constituency.
Majji Srinivas Rao (Chinna Srinu) has been appointed as the coordinator for Bhimili constituency, following the resignation of former Minister Avanti Srinivas.
Devender Reddy, son of Tippala Nagireddy, will serve as the coordinator for Gajuwaka constituency.
Gannavaru Sri Nivas Rao will take charge as the P. Gannavaram constituency coordinator.
Warikooti Ashok Babu has been appointed as the state spokesperson.
These leadership updates signal the YSR Congress Party’s dedication to strengthening its organizational structure and preparing for upcoming electoral challenges. As the party moves forward with these changes, it aims to better connect with voters and build a stronger foundation for future elections.
