YS Jagan’s Brother Abhishek Reddy Passes Away

YS family is in mourning over the tragic death of YS Abhishek Reddy, brother of YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who died on Tuesday night. Abhishek Reddy, who had been fighting a serious brain-related illness, passed away while undergoing treatment at AIG Hospital in Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

Abhishek Reddy was a very dedicated medical man of Visakhapatnam who was considered extremely dutiful in the eyes of medical science. Besides his professional medical career, he was in a very active and vibrant political situation as well. He was a grandson of elder brother of YS Avinash Reddy’s father YS Bhaskar Reddy, YS Prakash Reddy.

Abhishek Babu indeed played a very important role during the last elections. While in-charge of Lingala Mandal, his responsibilities were onerous. While speculations are floating about his candidature for Kadapa MP seat in the general elections of 2024, he concentrated more on consolidating the party’s organisational machinery. At the time of his death, Abhishek Babu was the president of the medical wing of YSRCP, a post he discharged with commitment and foresight.

The funeral is said to take place on Wednesday, in Pulivendula; YS Jagan Mohan Reddy among other family members are likely going to attend his final rites as well. All of them talk about the departed YS Abhishek Reddy as having been a commitment-oriented leader with a compassionate person.
