YS Jagan Removes Band-Aid, Invites More Trolls

The stone-pelting incident on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during his ‘Siddham’ public rally in Vijayawada on April 13th turned out to be the major talking point during political debates in the state ahead of the much-awaited polls next month. While the Opposition parties condemned the incident as a conspiracy and a cheap publicity stunt by the ruling party to gain sympathy akin to that of the ‘Kodi Katthi’ incident just before the 2019 elections, the government somehow managed to nab the offender after a detailed investigation.

Reportedly, the stone hit Jagan’s forehead just above the left eyebrow. There were further reports that the injury was severe because the stone cut deep on his forehead. A battalion of doctors was deployed to treat the Chief Minister immediately and he resumed the bus yatra after a quick first-aid. Since then, Jagan has been turning up for all his meetings with a fresh band-aid every day.

There have been numerous trolls and memes all over social media about the stone attack and many have expressed doubts about the seriousness of the injury. Supporters of TDP and Janasena started making fun of the tactics played by the YSRCP in the name of the injury. They even speculated that Jagan won’t remove the band-aid till the completion of the polling.

Two weeks after the attack, Jagan Mohan Reddy finally appeared without a band-aid today morning. Surprisingly, there is not even a small scar or a bruise on his forehead. Usually, injuries need a month or two to heal completely. Even if they heal quickly, scars will remain for a longer period. In this case, there is nothing visible to the naked eye.

Once again, the supporters of Opposition parties started to mock the sympathy card played by Jagan Mohan Reddy and his party as they find something fishy with the injury because there is no speck on the forehead after removing the band-aid.

Even slain MP’s daughter Sunitha Narreddy, who is a doctor by profession, suggested during her recent press meet that Jagan should remove the band-aid if he wants the injury to heal quickly and avoid septic.
