YS Avinash Reddy Faces New Trouble as AP Govt Files Key Affidavit in Viveka Murder Case

Kadapa MP and YSRCP leader YS Avinash Reddy has landed himself in the middle of a big controversy as the Andhra Pradesh government filed a key affidavit in the Supreme Court today in the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case. Already an accused in the case named by the CBI and currently on bail, Avinash is now facing added legal woes with these new developments. The attention now moves to the reaction of the Supreme Court to this drastic update.

The murder of former minister ex-minister YS Vivekananda Reddy triggered a large-scale CBI inquiry, during which there were suspicions of the involvement of his personal assistant Krishna Reddy. In a surprise twist, Krishna Reddy filed a complaint against CBI SP Ram Singh, Vivekananda Reddy’s daughter Sunitha Reddy, and son-in-law Narreddy Rajasekhar Reddy. On this basis, Pulivendula police filed a case against them.

But a thorough police investigation proved that Krishna Reddy’s complaint was false and forged. The investigation also found that Krishna Reddy had allegedly done so on the orders of YS Avinash Reddy to make the false complaint. The motive, according to the affidavit filed by the state government before the Pulivendula court and the Supreme Court, was to get Vivekananda Reddy’s daughter and son-in-law implicated in the case.

This new affidavit gives major credence to the charges levelled against YS Avinash Reddy, who might find the noose further tightening around his neck in this sensational murder case. With the legal war intensifying, all attention is focused on how the case progresses in the days to come.
