Stories about small screen actors indulging in inappropriate behaviour in one or the other manner often making headlines these days after their shameful acts come to light. Some involve in drug abuse, some are caught in drink and drive cases, some are found in sexual assault etc. The latest instance is about another such popular YouTube actor who rose to fame with promising content in several web series in the last couple of years.
Prasad Behera, a well known web series actor who also made it to Tollywood with a small role in the recent blockbuster comedy film ‘ Committee Kurrollu’ was reportedly arrested by Jubilee Hills police today evening after an actress named Kanchan Bamne who acted with him in a couple of short films complained about sexual abuse.
Going into details, Kanchan approached the Jubilee Hills police station with a complaint that Prasad has touched him inappropriately during the shooting of their latest web series. She also alleged that Prasad made sexual overtures in the past and used filthy launguage against her in the public while shooting for the episodes of their films.
Kanchan alleged that she left a web series midway last year after getting harassed by Prasad on the sets and returned as he tendered apology for his misbehaviour. She also complained that Prasad used foul language several times and also touched her inappropriately in front of everyone.
Based on her complaint, Prasad was arrested and sent to judicial remand for 14 days. Prasad appeared in web series like Pellivaramandi, Mechanic, Lal Salaam etc.
