After YCP’s humiliating defeat in the recent polls, for the first time YS Jagan reached the native village on a three-day tour on Saturday. YCP cadre says they lost cool as the security staff prevented them from seeing their leader YS Jagan. This has created a very tense environment. Some YCP activists are admitting that they were angry at their leader for completely ignoring Pulivendala during the last five years. They are demanding that Jagan should be available in the constituency frequently. YCP lost badly in the recent elections in Kadapa district, which was considered a fortress of the YSR family. The YCP won only 3 seats, including Pulivendala in the district.
