Young Tiger NTR is currently working on War 2, where he is acting with Bollywood sensation Hrithik Roshan. The film is directed by Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji and produced by legendary Yash Raj films and is considered one of many highly anticipated action sequels in Indian cinema.
With War 2 poised to be a pan-India spectacle, a number of top Telugu distributors are in the running for the Telugu states’ theatrical rights. According to industry sources, Sithara Entertainments’ boss Naga Vamsi is at present the front runner in this spirited competition. The fact that he is said to have a very close professional relationship with NTR is an added strength.
Naga Vamsi and NTR share a successful history, having earlier collaborated on the blockbuster Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava under the Haarika & Hassine Creations banner. More recently, Vamsi handled the distribution and promotions for NTR’s upcoming film Devara, showcasing his commitment and dedication to the star’s projects.
Sources indicate that NTR was impressed with the efforts of Vamsi and recommended him to Yash Raj Films personally for managing the Telugu distribution for War 2. This recommendation has fueled robust speculations that Sithara Entertainments is near finalizing the deal. Yet, there has been no official announcement yet.
Responding to the swirling rumors, Naga Vamsi took to Twitter to set the record straight. He clarified that “To all Tarak anna fans… The news going around about us buying the rights to WAR 2 is not true. Anything related to our projects will always be announced officially through our own handles only”.
War 2 is slated for a grand release on August 14, 2025, with sky-high expectations riding on this high-octane action drama. In other news, new reports suggest that NTR has confirmed a new film with Haarika & Hassine Creations, with Nelson Dilipkumar (the director of Jailer) set to take the helm. There is already excitement from fans about an announcement regarding this collaboration.
As anticipation builds for War 2 and NTR’s upcoming films, Tollywood fans can expect plenty of fireworks at the box office in the coming years.
