Vizianagaram MP Alleges Jagan Trying To Damage Image of AP In Delhi

Strongly objecting YCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s dharna in the national capital Delhi demanding President’s rule in the state, Vizianagaram TDP MP Kalishetty Appala Naidu alleged that the former Chief Minister is trying to damage the image of the state with his Delhi visit.

He lamented that Jagan is acting in such a way as to compromise the honour and prestige of the state on the streets of Delhi. When people of the state send them to the legislatures with great responsibility and respect, he said that it is not advisable for Jagan to behave insulting them.

He recalled that when he was in power Jagan made innumerable visits to Delhi as Chief Minister. What did he bring to five crore Andhras? He asked what Jagan had achieved for the development of the state? He said that the verdict was given in the recent election reflecting the failure of the YCP regime in fulfilling the aspirations of the people.

Appala Naidu said that five crore Andhras put faith in Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership and voted for the formation of a people’s government with faith in the NDA alliance. He accused Jagan of failing to respect people’s verdict and fulfilling his responsibility as an opposition leader.

He advised that Jagan should realise that politics are different and interests of the state are different. He felt happy that after a long time, the central government has given priority to the state of Andhra Pradesh in the budget and allocated Rs.15,000 crores for the construction of capital Amaravati and it is commendable.

He said that five crore people of Andhra along with him expected that as a responsible political leader Jagan and his party would welcome central government’s positive signals towards its commitment for the development of the state. But, he said unfortunately they are behaving to damage the image of the state so as to obstruct the development of the state.

Appala Naidu wondered why Jagan is silent on the Union Budget’s positive indications for the development of Andhra Pradesh? He accused Jagan for pushing the state 50 years backward during his five-year regime of destruction. He advised him to act responsibly whenever he comes to Delhi from now on.
