Viveka’s Wife Soubhagyamma Asks Jagan To Answer Sisters

“Is it appropriate, Jagan, to make your uncle, who wants to see you as the chief minister, unspeakable in his own magazine and channel?” Saubhagyamma, the wife of former Minister YS Vivekananda Reddy, who was murdered five years ago, asked Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in an open letter.

In that letter, she reminded that her daughter Dr. Sunita felt the same grief in 2019 as Jagan himself felt when he lost his father in 2009. She deplored that the reason for Vivekananda Reddy’s murder was caused by some members of the family and Jagan as the Chief Minister protecting them.

“Is it appropriate to abuse your uncle, who for a longs struggled to see you as CM in this way in your magazine, channel and social media?”, she wondered. “Doesn’t it bother you if some people go as far as to attack and mock your sisters who are fighting for justice?”, Soubhagyamma asked.

In her letter she expressed concern that Jagan remained silent when his sister Sharmila was also being targeted for supporting Sunitha, in her fight for justice. “Is this your duty, not as a family member but as the chief minister of the state?” she wondered.

She also pointed out against giving a chance to a person, who is responsible for Vivekananda Reddy’s murder to become MP again? In that letter, she stated that such misdeeds are not good at all and this is not suitable for him.

“As the accused who is responsible for the murder has filed a nomination, I pray you to think of justice and righteousness as a last resort,” she urged. In her letter she reminded that it will be his duty to stand for justice, righteousness and truth, because as the chief minister of the state, he took an oath to govern without hatred.
