Viveka, Srihari, Adluri Inducted Into Telangana cabinet

Cabinet expansion took place in Telangana. Governor Jishnu Dev Verma administered the oath to the new ministers at the Raj Bhavan. G. Vivek Ventakaswamy, Vakiti Srihari, and Adluri Laxman Kumar took oath as ministers. The Governor and CM Revanth Reddy congratulated the new ministers.

Vivek (Mala) from the SC community, Adluri Laxman (Madiga), and Vakiti Srihari (Mudiraj) from the BC community were given a place in the cabinet. TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud congratulated the new ministers. Ramachandra Nayak got the opportunity to be the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, and CM Revanth expressed his congratulations.

Considering social justice, the Congress high command decided to give priority only to SC, ST, and BC. Only those belonging to that community were taken into the cabinet. Ramachandru Nayak from Lambada community was selected as the deputy speaker. Initially, it was thought that four people would be given a chance in the expansion.

Although the names of Sudarshan Reddy and Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy were mentioned from the beginning, for now, the high command has given a chance only to SC and BC. However, it is reported that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy insisted that along with the Madiga community, one person from ST should also be given a chance and that Sudarshan Reddy from Nizamabad district should also be given a place.

It is learnt that the issue has been put aside for the time being as the high command has made it clear that if Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy is given a chance, it will be difficult to continue his brother and Minister Venkat Reddy and that only one of the two will have to be given a place.

Currently, with three people being given a chance, 3 more seats will be vacant in the cabinet. Along with these, efforts are also being made to fill the post of Chief Whip. Aadi Srinivas is currently the whip in the Legislative Assembly from BCs.

Telangana Congress Incharge Meenakshi Natarajan, who has been in Hyderabad for the last 4 days, has been widely discussed with party leaders and activists and is also being told to the high command that there should be expansion keeping in mind social justice.
