Following the poor performance of Laila, which greatly affected his career, Vishwak Sen is now aiming to make a new beginning with his new release Funky. No matter how hard he tried, Laila didn’t click with the audience, and so Vishwak had a definite aim to make a comeback in style. With Funky, he aimed at producing a hit that would regain the faith of his audience and critics as well.
Funky, which is helmed by the talented Anudeep KV, who has proven himself with Jathi Ratnalu. The film is anticipated to deliver the same fun and entertainment that made Jathi Ratnalu a huge success but with additional mass appeal factors to appeal to more people. Kayadu Lohar plays the heroine in the film, offering a thrilling and exciting combination with Vishwak Sen.
Though Funky has been in production for quite a while now, its theatrical release is yet to occur. Anudeep, who usually works at a swift pace, has kept the movie under wraps for reasons that are still unclear. However, insiders say that the movie is now scheduled to be released in February of next year, and fans cannot wait to learn how this new project fares.
