Former minister and Bhimili MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao announced that he will soon `Visakha Files’ containing the details of land looting done by the former Chief Secretary and other leader of YCP government in and around Visakhapatnam.

Releasing a poster of programmes undertaken by the TDP-led alliance government in the state during its first month, he deplored that Visakhapatnam that was gained fame as a mark for development over decades has turned to be a home for land grabbers and heaven for drugs during the regime of YCP. He said that he will certainly expose all illegal land grabbing activities done during the previous regime.

He lamented that YS Jaganmohan Reddy government had formulated Bhogapuram – Bhimili Beach road alignment design unilaterally ignoring public appeal and concerns.  He said this will be changed wherever is necessary. He assured that a permanent solution will be provided to the land problem of Pancha villages and justice will be given not only to the people who have built houses but also to the vacant plots and farmers.

Srinivasa Rao said that the present government is sure to stop moves intended to privatize Visakha Steel, which was setup in recognition of rights of Andhra people.  Pending works like Railway Zone and construction of BPCL refinery with Rs 70,000 crore investment, besides expansion of National Highways are some of  achievements of the government during the last one months, he added.

The former minister said that Jaganmohan Reddy had shelved Telugu people’s dream capital Amaravati. Though 72 percent of Polavaram works were completed by the previous TDP government, he said that the YCP regime failed to move forward.

Now Chandrababu Naidu is taking up these projects on war-foot and even brought foreign experts to pave the way for completion of Polavaram project from the destruction created by the previous regime, he added.

Srinivasa Rao also said that Bhogapuram airport will be developed like Shamshabad Airport, which would emerge as a growth engine for the rapid development of North Andhra.
