Vijay’s TVK Launches Dedicated Medical Wing to Bolster Grassroots Welfare Initiatives

Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), the political party led by Tamil cinema star Vijay, has launched a dedicated medical wing as part of its broader strategy to strengthen grassroots engagement and expand social welfare initiatives across Tamil Nadu. The move marks a significant step in the party’s efforts to establish a structured organisational presence and deepen its public outreach.

TVK President Vijay announced the formation of the medical wing through an official statement on Thursday. Dr. T. Saravanan has been appointed as the coordinator and will oversee all medical and healthcare-related programs under the party’s banner. Additionally, a team of 14 medical professionals has been designated as joint coordinators, including Dr. K. Vishnu, Dr. M.S. Ravi, Dr. A. Arun Prasad, Dr. S. Naresh, Dr. S. Aravind, Dr. T. Preething, Dr. S. Karthik, Dr. Sittar Pandian, Dr. M. Manimegalai, Dr. M. Hari, Dr. C. Jagadh, Dr. Sinora P.S. Mohit, Dr. C. Tamilinayan, and Dr. C. Vivek Pandian. The wing will function under the supervision of TVK General Secretary N. Anand.

Extending his congratulations to the newly appointed team, Vijay called on TVK cadres and leaders across Tamil Nadu to support the initiative fully. “This team will play a key role in advancing our public service and welfare objectives. I believe they will help take our mission of social responsibility to the next level,” he said.
