Popular film actress and Congress MLA Vijayasanti became serious over trolls in social media against AP Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s wife Anna Lezhinova’s recent Tirumala visit.
It may be recalled that following her son Mark Shankar narrowly escaping death in a fire accident in his Singapore school and was discharged from the hospital, Anna Lezhinova visited Tirumala for Lord Venkateswara’s darshan. On this occasion, she also offered her hair to the Lord.
During her Tirumala visit, she followed all customs and procedures, submitting a declaration following the rules and regulations. She not only followed all the rituals, gave donations in her son’s name and served food to devotees.
As these pictures went viral in social media, several people were moved with her simplicity and honesty in praying to the Lord. Many people praised Anna Lezhinova, saying that it is a great thing that she came from abroad and believed in Hinduism despite being born in a different religion.
But unfortunately some are trolling Anna Lezhinova. Some people are trolling asking what it means to be a Christian and come to Tirumala? What does it means to be a woman and offer talaneelalu?
Vijayashanti has given a fitting response to all of them. In a post on X, she expressed her anger and said it is extremely unfair for some people to troll Anna Leginova, a woman who came from a country other than her husband’s country and believed in Hinduism despite being of a different religion by birth, and the wife of AP Deputy CM Pawan Garu.
“In gratitude to our Lord Sri Venkateswara, who upheld that faith, for their son’s survival from the unfortunate fire accident, she visited Srivari in Tirumala, offered talaneelalu, and also donated to the Annadanam Trust and served food to devotees”, she said. She deplored that it is wrong to say that those who troll Anna Lezhinova, who respected tradition.
At a time when Pawan Kalyan’s wife is being criticized, Vijayashanti is being praised for coming forward and supporting her as a fellow woman, saying it is a great development. It is known that Vijayashanti’s film Arjun Son of Vijayashanti will be released on April 18.
