Former YSRCP MP Vijayasai Reddy, who has recently resigned from the party and also from the Rajya Sabha, for the first time said that he has left the party because Jaganmohan Reddy listens only coterie and his heart was broken after knowing that he had no place in Jagan’s mind.
Vijayasai Reddy suggested that Jagan should get out of the coterie if he wants to have a future. He alleged that if he wants to introduce someone to Jagan, he will have to first benefit the coterie. He made these sensational comments about the party for the first time when he attended the CID office in Vijayawada as part of the investigation into the Kakinada Port irregularities case.
Speaking after the investigation, Vijayasai Reddy said that Jagan has changed. However, he made it clear that a leader should not listen to gossip, as if he listens to it, the leader, the party and the people will lose. He said that he faced many insults in the YSRCP and he could not bear the insults even after being given many positions.
Moreover, he deplored that Jagan blamed him that he had succumbed to temptation and lost credibility. However, he asserted that he had not succumbed to temptation, but Jagan himself had changed. He said that once there was devotion to a leader, but now there is devotion only to God.
Meanwhile, Vijayasai Reddy alleged that KV Rao had filed a complaint against him with malicious intent. He accused that all this was done as part of a political conspiracy. He said that the CID officials asked him if he knew KV Rao, and he replied that he had no social or financial acquaintance with KV Rao.
He said that he was questioned about the transfer of shares from Aurobindo. He said that he had made it clear that he had no financial relations with Aurobindo except that he had sent his daughter to their house. He said that he had only said that he knew Vikrant Reddy, and that he was asked whether Vikrant Reddy had done all the transactions.
