Tamil-renowned actor Vijay Sethupathy’s recent blockbuster ‘Maharaja’ secures its spot on the OTT streaming platform. The film marks the 50th milestone for Vijay Sethupathi in his film career. The blockbuster has garnered glowing reviews critically and commercially reached the 100 crore milestone. With a worldwide theatrical release on June 14, the film recently completed its glorious 25 days in theaters and continues to draw audiences.
Amidst the successful run in theaters, the streaming platform Netflix announced the film’s OTT release date with the film’s poster and caption, “When his “Lakshmi” is stolen, hidden secrets come to light. How far will Maharaja go to set things right? #Maharaja is coming to Netflix on 12th July in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.”
Speaking more about ‘Maharaja’, it is helmed by Nithilan Swaminathan and backed by Sudha Sundaran of Passion Studios and Jagadish Palanisamy under the banner of The Route.
Touted to be a dark thriller, the film has an ensemble talented cast, including Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, Natarajan Subramaniam, Abhiram, Bharathraja, Aruldoss, Munishkanth, Vinoth Sagar, Sachana Nimidass, and others in pivotal roles. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the musical tunes for this flick.
