Touted to be a periodic action drama, the prestigious production house Mythri Movie Makers announced a new film, tentatively titled ‘VD 14’, and unveiled an intriguing poster featuring a king sculpted in stone riding a horse, set against the historical backdrop of 1854–1878 with the interesting tagline “The Legend of the Cursed Land”.
Making an official announcement, along with the poster, the makers wrote on their social media handles, “Epics are not written, they are etched in the blood of heroes. Presenting #VD14 – THE LEGEND OF THE CURSED LAND. Happy Birthday, Vijay Deverakonda.”
Speaking more about this highly anticipated film, ‘VD 14’, is helmed by Rahul Sankrityan. The film marks the second collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and director Rahul, following their film ‘Taxiwala’. With the film’s new poster release, Vijay Deverakonda will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar in this upcoming periodic action.
Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, recent reports suggest that Sree Leela stars as the female lead in this flick. However, the makers have not confirmed it yet. The plot and other cast details of ‘VD 14’ have been kept under wraps.
