Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan is set to entertain audiences with his upcoming action entertainer ‘Baby John’. Marking her debut in Hindi films with ‘Baby John’, renowned actress Keerthy Suresh collaborated with Varun for the first time.
Scheduled for a pan-Indian release, the film was earlier slated for a summer release, but it is now postponed. Sharing the update on their social media, the filmmakers released a new poster and revealed the film is set for a Christmas release.
The poster features Varun Dhawan in a fierce look, while a bunch of goons surround him with weapons. Along with the poster, they wrote, “Christmas this year just got merrier. Brace yourselves for Baby John releasing on December 25th.”
Directed by Kalees, ‘Baby John’ is a remake of Atlee’s film ‘Theri’. The film is backed by Priya Atlee, Murad Khateni, and Jyoti Deshpande under the banners of A for Apple Productions and Cine 1 Studios, with Atlee and Jio Studios as presenters. Wamiqa Gabbi, Sanya Malhotra, Jackie Shroff, Pankaj Tripathi, Rajpal Yadav, and Sheeba Chaddha are playing significant roles in this flick.
SS Thaman is producing the musical tunes. ‘Baby John’ is going to compete with Amir Khan’s ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ at the box office.
Varun Dhawan will be seen in Raj & Dk’s ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Additionally, he will feature in ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’, which is slated for release on April 18, 2025.
