Former Gannavaram MLA and YSR Congress Party leader Vallabhaneni Vamsi has suffered another legal jolt as the Nuzvid Court dismissed his bail petition in the ongoing fake house patta case. The court ruled that it was not the right time to grant bail, dealing a fresh blow to the embattled politician.
Vamsi, who has been under judicial custody at Vijayawada Central Jail for more than three months, had requested bail on the grounds of deteriorating health conditions. Regardless of his lawyer addressing frequent ailments and requesting relief, the court was not convinced and refused to grant him bail.
This case is just one among several troubling the former legislator. While he had managed to secure bail in a separate case involving an alleged attack on the TDP office in Gannavaram and the kidnapping and intimidation of a complainant, his freedom was halted due to PT warrants issued in other criminal cases.
Legal hurdles continue to mount for Vamsi, whose repeated bail attempts have so far been unsuccessful. The latest verdict from the Nuzvid Court only adds to the string of judicial setbacks, making his return to public life increasingly uncertain.
