Manchu Vishnu’s magnum opus “Kannappa” has been crafted into a grand-scale mythological epic, headlined by Vishnu himself in the titular role. The film boasts a star-studded cast of Prabhas, Kajal Aggarwal, Akshay Kumar, Mohan Babu, Preity Mukundan, Mohan Lal, Sharath Kumar, Shiva Rajkumar, Madhubala, Brahamanandam, Mukesh Rishi, Brahmaji, Sampath Ram, Devaraj, and several other notable stars in key roles.
The film has generated significant buzz, thanks to its stellar cast. Kannappa was earlier scheduled for a massive theatrical release on April 25. However, its release has been rescheduled, now aiming for a grand premiere on June 27, 2025. Today, the film team, including Manchu Vishnu, Manchu Mohan Babu, and Prabhudeva, met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to officially announce the new release date.
Photos from their meeting with Yogi Adityanath have been circulating widely on social media. They gifted a glass painting to CM Yogi and also extended a heartfelt invitation to watch the epic film once it’s done.
Speaking more of this mythological epic, Kannappa is helmed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and is backed by Mohan Babu under the banners of Ava Entertainments and 24 Frames Factory. Mani Sharma and Stephan Devassy are composing the music and background score, elevating the film’s cinematic experience. Sheldon Chau is set to bring a visually stunning glimpse with his cinematography.
