UoH professors, students Asks Meenakshi Natarajan To Register 400 Acres of Land In The Name of University

University of Hyderabad (UoH) professors and students demanded immediate registration of 400 acres of land so that it belongs to the university. In a meeting with State Congress Affairs In-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, they submitted a petition demanding the withdrawal of the forces deployed in UoH and the withdrawal of the cases registered against the students.

The professors said that Meenakshi Natarajan said that a decision acceptable to all will be taken after discussing with the Committee of Ministers. The issue of 400 acres of land in Kancha Gachibowli has become a hot topic of discussion in the state.

On the one hand, the students’ agitations at UoH and on the other hand, the opposition leaders targeting the government have created political heat. The Supreme Court has stayed the work. Amidst these developments, the Congress high command has ordered State Affairs In-charge Meenakshi Natarajan to collect complete details.

Meenakshi Natarajan, who came to Hyderabad on the orders of the high command, is collecting details. She met with university professors and representatives of student unions at the Gachibowli stadium. 10 professors from the University of Hyderabad Teachers’ Union, 15 from all student unions except ABVP, and representatives of voluntary organizations participated in it.

After this meeting, Meenakshi Natarajan tried to visit the 400-acre land, but the police did not allow her due to the Supreme Court stay. She had already met with the committee of ministers led by Bhatti Vikramarka, Sridhar Babu, and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on the first day.

It seems that the ministers have provided complete evidence that the land has no connection with UoH. They also inquired about the campaign on social media that peacocks and deer are dying. According to information gathered from various sources, it seems that the real situation is different from the opposition’s criticism of the Kancha Gachibowli lands.

It seems that Meenakshi Natarajan will prepare a report by compiling all the issues, including the way the party and the government are working together, the opposition’s criticism, student concerns, and the intervention of the courts. Party sources say that it will be submitted to Rahul Gandhi in a day or two.
