Union Minister Dr. Chandrasekhar Slams YS Jagan’s Protest Plans, Questions His Right to Protest

Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Communications Dr. Pemmasani Chandrasekhar responded to YSRCP president YS Jagan’s plan to protest in the national capital over recent developments. He criticized Jagan, stating that his actions are tarnishing the state’s reputation and warned that if Jagan takes to the streets, it could reverse all state development efforts.

Dr. Chandrasekhar questioned Jagan’s right to protest, emphasizing that the recent tragic incident in Macherla, which he labeled a political murder, should not be used to further political agendas. “What happened in Vinukonda cannot be classified as political murder. It is unjust to politicize personal conflicts. Did you act when the incident occurred in Macherla? Did you visit Macherla?” he asked.

He further criticized the current state of Andhra Pradesh, describing it as the most corrupt and underdeveloped. “What gives you the right to speak on behalf of AP in Delhi? It is embarrassing to discuss the state’s issues there, and Jagan’s reputation is negatively perceived not just in Delhi but also in the northeastern states,” Dr. Chandrasekhar added.
