In response to Telangana Minister Konda Surekha’s comments regarding the divorce of Naga Chaitanya and Samantha, Tollywood actor Akhil Akkineni expressed his strong disapproval. He described the minister’s remarks as inappropriate, disgusting, and unforgivable. Akhil vehemently criticized the minister on the social media platform X, stating that there is no chance of forgiving someone like her in our society.
He condemned Konda Surekha’s baseless statements as appalling, asserting that as a public servant, she has forgotten her ethics and social welfare responsibilities. He called her behavior shameful and unforgivable, stating that her comments have hurt a respectable and honest family in society. He accused her of bringing dishonor upon herself with her remarks.
Akhil expressed anger over the vicious attack on individuals with high values and social awareness in a politically charged environment, stating that they have been made sacrificial lambs in the process. He emphasized that, as a family member and a person from the film industry, he could not remain silent. He demanded that a person who makes such despicable comments should be punished, declaring that such individuals have no place in our society and cannot earn respect. He firmly stated that her remarks are unforgivable and intolerable.
