TTD Chairman BR Naidu said that in order to provide better services to the devotees who come to Tirumala for the darshan of Srivari, continuous training will be given to Srivari sevakulu with group superintendents and trainers, and a new software has been created for this.
Similarly, the Chairman said that BIG and Janatha canteens have been allocated in Tirumala in a transparent manner. Speaking to the media at Tirumala Annamayya Bhavan, he said that several reforms have been brought in Srivari seva in TTD as per the instructions of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
He said that Srivari Seva was started in Tirumala in the year 2000 by the hands of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetadhipathi Sri Sri Sri Jayendra Saraswati Swami to provide voluntary services to the devotees of Srivari. He said that 25 years have already been completed since the start of Srivari Seva.
Naidu said that in these 25 years, about 17 lakh Srivari Sevaks have voluntarily participated in Srivari Seva in Tirumala and Tirupati. He said that Srivari Sevaks are provided with Srivari Darshan, Laddu Prasadam, accommodation and food facilities, and about 3,500 Srivari Sevaks are providing their services in all departments of Tirumala every day.
EO J Shyamala Rao said that as per the instructions of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, TTD has undertaken many reforms in the last 14 months to provide better facilities to the devotees and protect the sanctity of Tirumala. He explained that as part of this, queue lines, sanitation, welfare counters, luggage counters, Annaprasadams, and continuous distribution of Annaprasadams by Srivari Sevakulu are being done.
He said that TTD has taken steps to jointly train the trainers of Srivari Sevakulu under the auspices of IIM Ahmedabad and the State Government Planning Director. He said that in this training, training will be given mainly on the glory of Srivari, the importance of Tirumala, the services provided by TTD to devotees, service attitude and other topics.
In this section, Srivari sevas aged 45-65 years should register their names. They will monitor the services provided by the sevas in various departments of Tirumala from time to time and report to the authorities in the form of grading. Thus, the sevas will have the opportunity to provide services with more discipline and commitment.
Their service period is 15 days, 30 days, 90 days, Educational qualification: At least a degree should be completed. Many NRI experts abroad want to be given an opportunity to participate in Srivari seva. It was explained that experts who are proficient in various professions are being given an opportunity to serve Srivari seva.
