Alleging that the former TTD Goshala director Harinath Reddy committed serious irregularities during the previous government regime, TTD Chairman BR Naidu announced that he would order for a CBI probe into Goshala irregularities.
He inspected the Goshala along with Koti Sridhar, founder of the Gorakshak Dal and former TTD cow shelter member, and Kalusing, president of the Gorakshak Dal Telangana. Speaking at a media conference later, BR Naidu deplored that even the grass of the cows was eaten during the YSRCP regime. He said that the cows here were moved to Ongole and sold on commissions.
He said that some people are threatening him to file a case and he is not afraid of their threats. He alleged that Harinath Reddy had stolen the records so that his irregularities would not be exposed.
“Wasn’t BJP leader Subramanian Swamy unable to see injustices in Goshala? Why didn’t Subramanian Swamy file a PIL against YSRCP? Swamy, who makes all types of accusations against the TTD, why is not trying to know the truth?”, he wondered. Naidu said that they will form a four-member committee on the Goshala incidents and the committee will find out what is happening here.
He deplored that they are attempting to blame them for the mistakes done by the YSRCP regime. He warned that no one who made mistakes can escape and said that they will brief the Chief Minister on what is happening at TTD.
Meanwhile, Koti Sridhar, founder of the Gorakshak Dal, said that he was appointed as a member of the TTD cow protection unit during the YV Subbareddy regime. He said that Harinath Reddy did not allow him to enter the Goshala at that time. He said that the fact that cows and their fodder were sold is true and Harinath Reddy had committed many irregularities.
TTD board member Bhanuprakash Reddy said that they are deliberately spreading falsehoods about the Goshala. If former MP Subrahmanya Swamy has devotion to Srivaru, he said that then he should file a PIL against the corruption that took place in the TTD Goshala from 2019 to 2024.
