A trap is being tightened around the neck of MP Avinash Reddy’s follower and Jagan’s wife Bharathi PA Varra Ravindra Reddy, who made posts using the most derogatory language on social media against political opponents. Cases are being registered against this key YCP social media activist across the state, belonging to Vemula mandal of Pulivendula constituency.
He was produced before the Kadapa Second Additional Magistrate at 5 am on Tuesday. After the hearing, the judge remanded Ravindra Reddy to 14 days. With this, the police shifted Ravindra Reddy to Kadapa Central Jail.
Varra is now haunted by the sin of posting obscene posts against Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, CM Chandrababu’s wife Nara Bhuvaneswari, PCC Chief Sharmila and other alliance leaders and their family members. Recently, when the Kadapa Chinnachowk police arrested and took him away, MP Avinash Reddy pressured the police and let him go. Due to this, District SP Harshavardhan and Chinnachowk police station SHO Tejomurthy were fired.
Kurnool Range DIG Koya Praveen stepped in and formed special teams to search for Varra. On the other hand, the police are taking all the complaints received against this cyber psycho seriously across the state and are registering cases everywhere. According to unofficial information, it is known that more than 20 FIRs have been registered by Sunday evening.
Cases have been registered against Varra in several police stations in Kadapa, Annamaya, Chittoor, Prakasam, Kurnool, Vijayawada and Guntur districts. It is known that several sections of BNS have been included in the FIRs based on the severity of the comments in his posts, obscenity in his videos and obscenity in his photos.
Cases have been booked under BNS 111 for posts that incite hatred between castes that are strong supporters of the ruling TDP and Jana Sena parties, under 67A of the IT Act for posting fake and morphed photos, under BNS 353(2) for videos that are offensive, and under BNS 336(4) for posts about respected people in the society.
A police technical team of ten people in each district is uncovering details of who made such comments in the state along with Varra and when. The police are working systematically to send social psychos to jail for as long as possible by taking complaints from victims everywhere.
In addition, there is a discussion about the possibility of introducing a special law in the form of a bill in the assembly sessions. If it comes into force, the police say that more than 80 YSRCP social psychos who posted obscene posts on social media are likely to be jailed for years.
