In a startling turn of events, Tirupati police sprang into action after receiving a threatening email that raised alarm bells across the city. The email detailed bomb threats targeting multiple hotels, specifically three private establishments near Leela Mahal and another at Ramanuja Junction, asserting that explosives had been planted.
In the meantime, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Venkata Narayana took forward the special team with rapid action to ensure that all the nooks and corners of the hotels were viewed and scrutinized. After such a proper search, the law enforcement officers were satisfied that there was not a single trace of explosives found, and they all heaved a sigh of relief. Still, the authorities deemed the threat grave enough to register a case related to the email followed by proper investigation about its origin.
The email also made disturbing claims about terrorist Jafar Sadiq being sentenced to prison in Tamil Nadu with the alleged support of Chief Minister Stalin. It suggested that the ISI was preparing for attacks on various schools in the state, adding to the urgency of the situation.
Fortunately, after extensive checks, police determined that the threats were unfounded, categorizing the email as a false alarm. The investigation continues as authorities work to uncover who is behind this alarming hoax.
