The Telugu box office is set for an unusual week as March 7 will see the release of three dubbed films, with no direct Telugu releases scheduled. While dubbed films occasionally make an impact, this rare instance of multiple releases in the same week has drawn attention.
Among the upcoming releases, Bollywood blockbuster Chhava is generating significant anticipation. The film, featuring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, was a major success in Hindi and is now being released in Telugu by Geetha Arts Distributions.
From the Tamil industry, G.V. Prakash Kumar’s Kingston is set to hit theaters. Directed by Kamal Prakash, the film is a fantasy horror featuring Divyabharathi as the female lead. The recently released trailer has sparked interest among audiences.
Additionally, Malayalam film Officer on Duty, starring Priyamani and Kunchacko Boban, will also release in Telugu on the same day, further adding to the competition.
With three distinct films arriving simultaneously, it remains to be seen which one will strike a chord with Telugu audiences.
