Telangana Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy provided important clarification on the ongoing process of issuing ration cards in the state. Speaking to the media today, he emphasized that the process is continuous and will continue until all eligible individuals in the state receive their cards. He assured that those whose names have not appeared in the new ration card list should not be concerned, as the process remains open.
Minister Reddy explained that the names of eligible individuals were recorded based on caste census data, social and economic surveys, and information from previous ration card records. He further advised that anyone eligible but missing from the list should apply again during village meetings. He confirmed that ration cards will be issued to all eligible applicants.
