Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court has directed that children under the age of 15 should not be allowed to attend movie screenings between 11 PM and 11 AM. The court emphasized the need for discussions with all stakeholders before finalizing a decision on this matter.
These remarks came during the hearing of petitions related to the increase in movie ticket prices and the approval of special shows. Justice B. Vijay Sen Reddy, while addressing the concerns raised by the petitioner’s lawyer about the potential health impact on children attending late-night shows, ruled in favor of restricting their access to screenings during these hours.
The court has postponed further proceedings to February 22, following this ruling.
