Hyderabad: The Telangana government has extended the application deadline for the Rajiv Youth Development scheme, a significant initiative aimed at providing support to unemployed individuals. The deadline, initially set for April 5, has been extended to April 14.
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka conducted a video conference with officials to ensure the effective implementation of the scheme. During the conference, he emphasized the importance of thorough and systematic execution. Minister Sridhar Babu, Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, and several district collectors also participated in the meeting.
The scheme offers financial assistance through loans based on the value of units, divided into three categories. Beneficiaries can avail loans of ₹1 lakh under Category-1, ₹2 lakh under Category-2, and ₹3 lakh under Category-3, with subsidies of 80%, 70%, and 60%, respectively.
