The Telangana government issued an order on Saturday approving a hike in ticket prices for the highly anticipated film Pushpa-2, directed by Sukumar and starring Icon Star Allu Arjun. The movie is set to release on December 5, with special benefit shows scheduled for December 4 at 9:30 PM and 1:00 AM.
For the 9:30 PM show, an additional charge of ₹800 per ticket has been approved, applicable across single screens and multiplexes in the state. This brings the ticket prices to ₹1,000 for single screens and over ₹1,200 for multiplexes.
From December 5 to 8, single-screen tickets will see a ₹150 hike, while multiplex tickets will cost ₹200 more. Between December 9 and 16, the hike will reduce to ₹105 for single screens and ₹150 for multiplexes. From December 17 to 23, the government has permitted a minimal increase of ₹20 for single screens and ₹50 for multiplexes.
