Telangana BJP President G. Kishan Reddy emphasized Hyderabad’s crucial role as a revenue source for the state in a national media interview on Sunday. He highlighted the city’s importance to the country’s economy, noting its significant development over the past 20-30 years. Kishan Reddy praised the strides made in various sectors, including IT, pharmaceuticals, education, defense, and real estate.
Kishan Reddy assured that despite the BJP not being in power in the state, the central government is committed to providing all possible assistance to Telangana. He pointed out that Hyderabad alone contributes approximately 80 percent of the state’s revenue. Criticizing the state governments, Kishan Reddy alleged that the BRS and Congress administrations are neglecting the welfare of the people and misappropriating state revenue for their own interests.
