The fantasy adventure blockbuster Mirai, starring Teja Sajja and Manchu Manoj and directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, is gearing up for its digital release. After its successful theatrical run, the film will stream on Jio Hotstar starting October 10. The platform announced the news with a new poster, confirming that the film will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
Mirai blends mythology and fantasy, beginning with Emperor Ashoka, who, after the devastating Kalinga War, seals his divine powers into nine sacred texts and entrusts them to nine warriors for protection. Centuries later, a dark force named Mahaveer Lama (Manchu Manoj) seeks these texts to achieve immortality and absolute power over the world. However, the ninth and most crucial text is guarded by Ambika (Shriya), who foresees the looming threat.
To counter this danger, Ambika separates from her newborn son Veda (Teja Sajja), setting the stage for his destiny. Raised as an orphan in various places, Veda must uncover his true purpose and fulfill his mother’s mission to protect the sacred text and save the world from Mahaveer’s tyranny. With its gripping story, stellar performances, and grand visuals, Mirai promises an equally thrilling experience for OTT audiences.
