Tollywood’s highly acclaimed film ‘HanuMan’, which arrived in theaters on January 12, emerged as a unique addition to the cinematic landscape, blending mythological storytelling with superhero elements. The film garnered critical and commercial acclaim and emerged as a blockbuster with a worldwide collection of 330 crores.
The film has achieved another remarkable feat in its journey, marking a historic milestone by completing a successful 100-day run, and is still captivating audiences across 25 theaters. HanuMan created history in Telugu cinemas, emerging as the all-time Sankranthi blockbuster in 92 years of Telugu cinema.
The movie makers took to their social media to announce this rare feat achieved by HanuMan and wrote, “CELEBRATING 100 BLOCKBUSTER DAYS of the Historical Blockbuster #HanuMan in 25 Centres. HanuMan, helmed by Prashanth Prashanth Varma and backed by Niranjan Reddy under the banner of Primeshow Entertainment. The film stars Teja Sajja and Amritha Aiyer as the main leads, along with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vinay Rai, Vennela Kishore, and Getup Srinu in significant roles.
Following the film’s enormous success, makers have announced a sequel to Hanuman, titled ‘Jai Hanuman’. Earlier, the makers released a new poster for Sri Rama Navami.
