A meeting took place between several BRS MLAs, including former MLA Theegala Krishna Reddy, and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Attendees included MLAs Mallareddy, his son-in-law Rajasekhar Reddy, and Madhavaram Krishna Rao, who convened at Chandrababu’s residence in Jubilee Hills. During this meeting, Theegala Krishna Reddy made a significant announcement regarding his political future.
Theegala Krishna Reddy declared his intention to join the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), despite currently being affiliated with the BRS. He highlighted his political beginnings with NTR, stating, “Chandrababu is 100% responsible for the development of Hyderabad.” Reddy emphasized the necessity for the return of TDP governance in Telangana.
Additionally, following their meeting with Chandrababu, Mallareddy extended an invitation to the Chief Minister for the wedding of his granddaughter, Shreya Reddy. It is important to note that Mallareddy, Madhavaram Krishna Rao, and Theegala Krishna Reddy had previously worked with the TDP but had departed due to various developments. This gathering marks a notable return to the TDP, especially in light of the wedding occasion.
