Ram Pothineni and Puri Jagannadh are gearing up for an eagerly awaited comeback with their highly anticipated next ‘Double Ismart’, a sequel to the blockbuster film ‘Ismart Shankar’. The film’s shooting is moving swiftly to bring this exciting sequel into theaters.
The makers made an announcement earlier on the film’s teaser that the teaser would be released on May 15, marking hero Ram Pothineni’s birthday. Now, adding fuel to the excitement, the makers released another update, revealing the teaser runtime would be 85 seconds, which means 1 minute and 25 seconds.
Dropping the same, the makers took to their social media handles and wrote, “Get ready to celebrate the arrival of USTAAD #RAmPOthineni as #DoubeISMART. 2X dosage of MADNESS Loading in 85 SECONDS of diMAAKIKIRIKIRI #DoubleISMARTTeaser. Releasing Tomorrow, MAY 15th. ARE YOU READY?”
Helmed by Maverick director Puri Jagannadh, ‘Double Ismart’ promises to deliver twice the action, intensity, and entertainment compared to its prequel. Mani Sharma’s music adds another layer to this cinematic experience. Backed by Puri Jagannadh and Charmmee Kaur under the banner of Puri Connects, the film stars Kavya Thapur as the female lead and also features Sanjay Dutt as the main antagonist.
Both Puri Jagannadh and Ram Pothineni are preparing for their comeback with ‘Double Ismart’ after their latest ventures ‘Liger’ and ‘Skanda’ respectively failed at the box office. Slated for a pan-India release, the makers have not yet revealed the date of the film’s theatrical release.
