TDP Parliamentary Party Charts Strategy Ahead of Parliament Session

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday chaired a meeting of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Parliamentary Party at the camp office in Undavalli. The meeting was convened to formulate a strategic approach for the upcoming Parliament session, which is scheduled to begin on July 21.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister directed party MPs to focus on key issues concerning the state, including pending central funds, delayed infrastructure projects, and the need for timely approvals under various central schemes. A total of nine major subjects were identified as part of the party’s agenda for the session.

The discussions also covered concerns over delays in sanctioning loans under central programmes and the alleged derogatory online campaigns by YSRCP supporters targeting women public representatives.

Briefing the media after the meeting, TDP Parliamentary Party leader Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu said that the coalition government had already secured ₹15,000 crore for Amaravati. He added that the party would raise several critical issues in Parliament, including Operation Sindhoora Vijay, the 50th anniversary of the Emergency, the Quantum Valley project, Bharat Gaurav trains, and the national aerospace policy.

“We will also draw the Centre’s attention to the pending infrastructure projects in the state and urge for their swift completion,” he stated.
