Narasaraopet MP and TDP Lok Sabha party leader Lavu Srikrishna Devarayalu has severely criticized YSRCP President and former Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy accusing him of conspiring to disrupt peace and security in the state and to create intolerance and differences among various communities.
He accused him of inciting hatred among the people with misinformation and described Jagan as a “professional political criminal”. He has written a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the developments that took place during Jagan’s visit to Papireddypalli in Sri Sathya Sai district.
Srikrishna Devaraya stated that even though Jagan has Z-plus security, dramas are being made about security lapses. He was furious that the Papireddypalli incident was being used for his political gains. Referring to the helicopter incident, he questioned, “If in fact nothing happened to the helicopter, if it was said to have been damaged at 12.56 PM, how did the helicopter take off at 1 o’clock?”
He also alleged that telling party cadres that he would go to Bangalore first and then traveling by road and making allegations of security failure is a sign of a conspiracy. Moreover, he deplored that for the past some time, Jagan has been threatening police officers and making destructive comments, which has damaged their mental state.
The TDP MP expressed serious concerns over Jagan making public warnings and vulgar comments against the police. He urged the Union Home Minister that the comments that he will remove the police if he comes to power should be considered seriously. He also accused the YSRCP of trying to create panic among the people and create insecurity in the government by giving misleading information.
The letter stated that this whole affair is being carried out in a conspiratorial manner, and that the dramas done by Jagan should be considered as conspiracies to destroy the democratic system.
Stating that Jagan’s comments on the police are hurtful, he criticized that when Jagan was in power, he used the police against political opponents and now he is throwing mud at the same officers. He lamented that Jagan has no respect for democracy and that is why people did not even give him the status of Leader of the Opposition.
He recalled that Jagan as a person with a criminal history, 11 CBI charge sheets and 9 ED money laundering cases have already been registered against him. “Jagan, who made illegal income by obstructing his father’s power, is roaming on bail till today. He is used to deceiving people and playing dramas,” he said.
Srikrishna Devarayalu alleged that Jagan, who used the murder of his uncle Vivekananda Reddy before the 2019 elections for political purposes, blamed the then government and is now insulting the CBI investigation into the same murder.
