TDP MLC Bhumireddy slams YCP Trying To withdraw From ZPTC By-poll In Pulivendula!

TDP MLC Bhumireddy Ramgopal Reddy said that it is clear that the YCP is trying to withdraw from the election fray by looking at the hustle and bustle in Pulivendula for the last two days. He alleged that the YCP was the reason for the clash between the two parties in Nalgonduvaripalle on Wednesday.

During the election, he said that the police allocate time to each party to campaign in the respective villages as per the election rules.

As part of that, he said that the TDP was supposed to campaign in Nalgonduvaripalle on Wednesday. But, he deplored that the YCP MLC and some leaders went to Nalgonduvaripalle and behaved in a provocative manner with those from TDP. Due to this, he lamented that both the parties were injured.

Stating that Suresh Reddy (Saidhapuram Chanti) is contesting as an independent candidate, he said that if he is an independent candidate, he should be considered as an opponent of either the YSRCP or the TDP. But, he wondered how they can claim he was attacked by the TDP? He felt that this attack must have happened due to his own problems in the village.

Bhumireddy saidalleged that as soon as Rachamallu Prasada Reddy arrived, the matter was being handled according to a script. He said that they were deliberately engaging in provocative activities to create tension.

He wondered why MP Avinash Reddy and others were taking hundreds of people violating election codes to hold a rally in the town?  He asked whether it was true that a person named Bala Gangireddy from E. Kothapalle attacked a TDP Raja on Wednesday night?

Meanwhile, SP EG Ashok Kumar said that the ZPTC by-elections being held in Pulivendula and Ontimitta are being held amidst tight security. He said that elections are being held in Pulivendula and Ontimitta on the 12th and counting will be held on the 14th. He said that tight arrangements have already been made.

However, he said two incidents have occurred. He made it clear that members should campaign only in the villages allotted to them. Otherwise, he warned that it is not right to go to other villages and campaign unofficially.
