Telugu Desam Rajahmundry Rural MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdhury has alleged that YCP scams have reached from Andhra Pradesh to Africa. Referring that the police investigation exposed liquor scam roots in Africa, he criticized Jagan and Co for defaming AP in other countries as well. He was fired for parades of YCP leaders released from jail as heroes.
The former minister asserted that his government did not take any steps to gain favor like YCP. He satirized that Jagan was roaming around the courts with the money he had stolen. He said that they are not living a life of luxury by telling lies like Jagan. He criticized YCP leaders for talking about medical colleges now.
If Rs. 7,500 crores were needed for medical colleges, he asked why not a single rupee was released during the YCP regime? He criticized that YCP left medical colleges in their foundations. He flagged that YCP leaders were insulting them on social media if they spoke about medical colleges in the Assembly.
He asked them what they had done if Jagan did not pay the dues for super specialty hospitals for five years? Butchaiah Chowdhury lamented that AP had gone bankrupt under the YCP government. He made it clear that his government was implementing the PPP policy for medical colleges only for the benefit of the state.
He clarified that the coalition government was doing what it said. He emphasized that they would implement and demonstrate various development works and welfare programs during their rule. He requested that the central government provide funds for Godavari Pushkarams on the lines of Kumbh Mela.
Gorantla asked why Jagan did not come to the assembly? He suggested that Jagan should come to the assembly and speak on public issues. Even though there was no opposition in the AP Assembly, the MLA said that they were taking the responsibility of the opposition and talking about public issues. He criticized the ignorant YCP leaders who were using distorted language. He complained that Jagan’s administration was not being carried out constructively.
