The coalition parties are locked in an embarrassment scenario after two of its prominent MLAs locked in `open war’ over the Vizag Film Nagar Cultural Center issue. While one of them is senior MLA and former minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, the other one is BJP legislature party leader Vishnu Kumar Raju.
The controversy sparked after Visakha North MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju complained to the Collector after the Film Nagar lease issue. However, Ganta Srinivasa Rao was furious, saying that the Vizag Film Nagar Cultural Center is a matter within his Bheemili constituency.
How could a BJP MLA bring this matter to the attention of the Collector without my knowledge? He openly expressed his dissatisfaction with Vishnu Kumar Raju. It is learnt that he strongly said that he would not tolerate interference in the matter of his constituency.
Videos related to these verbal arguments surfaced between two of them openly on a roadside are going viral on social media. However, it is learnt that Ganta Srinivasa Rao is said to be angry that BJP MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju is interfering in the matter within his constituency.
He questioned Vishnu Kumar Raju about how he could bring the Film Nagar lease matter within his constituency to the attention of the Collector without his knowledge? He expressed dissatisfaction with Vishnu Kumar Raju for not acting as he pleases.
However, Vishnu Kumar Raju tried to convince Ganta Srinivasa Rao that he was not available when the Film Nagar lease matter was brought to the attention of the Collector. This matter took place near a car on the road. However, these videos are now going viral on the internet.
On the other hand, Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Vishnu Kumar Raju recently visited the Film Nagar Cultural Center. The construction of the Film Nagar Cultural Center was started in Visakhapatnam in 2015 for the development of the film industry in AP. It was established at Thimmapuram on Bhimili Beach Road.
However, there were objections to the government land allocated for the Film Nagar Cultural Center. In this context, Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Vishnu Kumar Raju, who recently visited the Film Nagar Cultural Center, said that new land will be allocated for the Film Nagar Cultural Center in the wake of the objections.
They also said that the Vizag Film Nagar Cultural Center will be established as a model club without any disputes. However, it is reported that Vishnu Kumar Raju met the Collector in the wake of the Film Nagar lease issue.
