Ridiculing that YCP leaders Kodali Nani and Vallabhaneni Vamsi, who used to daily challenge and abuse TDP leaders during the previous regime are not seen nowadays, TDP leader Buddha Venkanna announced a reward if anyone tells their whereabouts.
In a satirical tone, he said that they are not found in the state after the election results and he will give a reward of Rs 1,116 for their whereabouts. He suggested that those who know the whereabouts of Kodali Nani and Vamsi should inform the police, he will definitely be rewarded.
Buddha Venkanna said that the assembly is like a temple for MLAs.. He demanded the resignation of the 11 YCP MLAs who did not go to the assembly. He said that as public representatives, they have the responsibility to speak in the assembly on the issues of the constituency. But, he deplored that the YCP MLAs are insulting the people by not coming to the assembly.
Even though they do not attend the assembly, he wondered that11 YCP MLAs are getting a salary of Rs. 1.75 lakhs into their accounts every month. He demanded that those who have not attended the assembly even for a single day should resign. He accused them of grazing public money without attending the assembly.
He recalled that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had earlier vowed not to attend the assembly at that time because he was insulted in a full house. He reminded that all the other TDP members had gone to the assembly and raised public issues.
Venkanna said that out of anger towards their miserable rule only the people did not give YS Jaganmohan Reddy the opposition status. For that, he lamented that Jagan is not allowing his party MLAs to attend the Assembly. He advised them even now they should attend the assembly and try to win over the people with their performance.
Otherwise, he demanded that they should return the salaries they have received so far and resign. He predicted that the YCP will soon be completely empty. He asserted that the YCP’s downfall was certain the day Chandrababu insulted his family.
