The TDP leaders have filed a complaint against Govt. Advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy in Tadepalli Police Station, objecting his direction to YCP poll agents to prepare for breaking rules during counting of votes.
Tadepalli police registered a case against Sajjala on the complaint given by TDP Advocate Gudipati Lakshmi Narayana. Sajjala’s comments made it clear that YCP felt they can win over the polls only through `counting management’ on the lines of `poll management’.
He has openly directed them to mend the rules favouring the ruling party and no chance should be given to the opposition parties to make use of rule of law.
Former TDP minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao has demanded that the Election Commission immediately file a criminal case and arrest Sajjala for openly declaring that those who want to follow rules need not be election agents of the ruling party.
He expressed his anger that Sajjala has openly directed his party poll agents to block TDP- Jana Sena and BJP agents at every step.
He accused YSRCP of conspiring to create unrest in the state on polling day due to fear of defeat.
He alleged that under the direction of chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy and Chief Secretary KS Jawahar Reddy only Sajjala provoking his party agents to create disturbances during counting of votes. Devineni Umamaheswara Rao demanded immediate dismissal of Jawahar Reddy, who had tarnished the post of CS.
TDP leaders are deploring over guidelines issued by Sajjala to his party agents while addressing an awareness programme to the Chief Counting Agents of the party at the party headquarters.
Sajjala advised that agents should keep in mind their target of winning the elections and should now allow any rule that invalidates even a single vote of the party. He strongly advocated to come out from the barriers of rules in this regard.
He made it clear that YCP agents should not follow rules and any objections raised by other parties pointing to rules should be violated by all means. “Our target is how to stop others from winning and how to return back to power”, he asserted. Asked them to be prepared to come out from all barriers of rules in this regard.
