Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu has consistently emphasized that unwavering dedication to the party never goes unnoticed. His son, TDP National General Secretary and Minister Nara Lokesh, has echoed the same belief. Staying true to their word, the party has announced its MLA quota MLC candidates, selecting three committed leaders—BT Naidu, Beeda Ravichandra, and Kavali Greeshma. The TDP central office confirmed their nominations, reinforcing the party’s long-standing tradition of valuing loyalty and hard work.
Among the chosen candidates, Kavali Greeshma stands out as a dynamic and promising young leader. She is the daughter of Kavali Prathibha Bharathi, who made history as the first female Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly in the undivided state. Actively involved in a youth leadership group initiated by Nara Lokesh, Greeshma has played a key role in shaping TDP’s strategies. Her sharp political insight and dedication have earned her immense respect within the party. A defining moment in her journey was during a past Mahanadu event, where her fiery response to opposition leaders energized party supporters and solidified her position as an emerging force in Andhra politics.
BT Naidu has been a rock-solid supporter of TDP, always keeping the interests of the party ahead of personal aspirations. Though offered several times by opposition parties, he has stood firm in his allegiance to TDP. Earlier, he had almost got a Rajya Sabha seat but fell short by a narrow margin. Appreciating his constant efforts and devotion, Chandrababu Naidu has now made sure that BT Naidu gets a richly deserved MLC nomination. With his present term coming to an end, this appointment is a clear demonstration of the party’s confidence in his leadership.
Beeda Ravichandra, another important nominee, hails from a politically rooted family. His brother, Beeda Mastan Rao, is an MP in Rajya Sabha. In contrast to Mastan Rao, who changed political loyalties in the past, Ravichandra was staunchly committed to TDP, defying any political pressure to switch sides. His unwavering commitment to the party has now been rewarded with an MLC nomination, affirming TDP’s determination to reward those who stand by its ideology.
With the five MLC seats up for grabs, TDP has strategically given one to its ally Jana Sena and another to BJP in affirmation of its stance on coalition politics. The other three seats were given to leaders who have shown unflinching commitment to the party. The move has been universally hailed as it is a reflection of TDP’s policy of appreciating long-term dedication. In bestowing honors upon these committed leaders, the party not only concretizes its organizational strength internally but also sends out a message clear and loud—hard work and dedication will never go unrecognized and unrewarded.
