The highly anticipated film Odela 2, featuring Tamannaah Bhatia as Shiva Shakti, is set for release on the 17th of this month. Directed by Ashok Teja, the film serves as a sequel to the 2017 hit Odela. The movie also stars Vasishta N. Simha and Hebah Patel in pivotal roles.
A pre-release event was held on Monday, with actor Sharwanand attending as the chief guest. Speaking at the event, Sharwanand expressed his excitement for the film, noting that the Odela 2 teaser reminded him of the same impact as films like Ammooru and Arundhati. He further mentioned that upon watching the teaser, he immediately contacted director Sampath Nandi, sensing that something special was in the making. “I believe this film will achieve great success, and the openings will be unprecedented,” he said.
Tamannaah, reflecting on her 20-year career, shared her appreciation for working with passionate filmmakers like Sampath Nandi and Madhu. “It’s rare to find people who truly love cinema, and I’m fortunate to work with them on this project,” she said. She also expressed her gratitude for being given the role of Shiva Shakti, adding, “I’m excited to see the audience’s response. It’s an honor to be part of this film.”
