Suspicion Raised Over Pawan Kalyan’s Security Following Fake IPS Officer Incident

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s security arrangements have come under scrutiny following an alarming incident involving a fake IPS officer. During Kalyan’s visit to Manchikal Parvatipuram on December 20, a security lapse was noticed, particularly involving a man posing as an IPS officer, which has now sparked widespread concerns.

The individual, identified as Surya Prakash from Cheepurupalli in Vizianagaram district, falsely represented himself as an IPS officer during the event. He interacted with local police officers, and several of them were photographed with him, unaware of his true identity. Prakash, who had previously claimed to have served in the Indian Army, is reported to have misled several people into believing he was a senior officer.

Further investigation revealed that Surya Prakash had also taken photos and videos with senior police officials in Hyderabad and Delhi, asserting he was undergoing IPS training. He even introduced himself as a trainee IPS officer to the DSP of Cheepurupalli in Vizianagaram.

The individual’s careful attention to his dress, behavior, and speech helped him avoid detection, raising serious questions about the security oversight during Pawan Kalyan’s visit.

**Investigation Ordered**

Home Minister Vangalapudi Anita has ordered an inquiry into the matter. Several key questions remain unanswered, including why Surya Prakash infiltrated Kalyan’s security, whether there were any external influences behind his actions, and what the underlying motives were. The investigation aims to uncover the full extent of the incident and address the potential risks to Pawan Kalyan’s security.
