In a shocking incident that has raised concerns across Andhra Pradesh, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s office received alarming death threats through phone calls and messages. Acting promptly, his office filed a police complaint, bringing the matter to the attention of law enforcement. Home Minister Anita also took swift action by engaging in discussions with the DGP. Investigations revealed a startling link — the same phone number used in these threats had previously targeted the Home Minister with similar calls.
The primary suspect, identified as Mallikarjuna from Vijayawada, is now the focus of an intensive manhunt. Vijayawada Police Commissioner has formed four dedicated teams to track him down, deploying search operations across Nellore, Tiruvuru in the NTR district, and Vijayawada city.
Mallikarjuna is reportedly the brother-in-law of a prominent doctor couple in Tiruvuru. According to sources, he has been battling severe addiction problems, which strained his family relationships and led to his wife leaving him. Although based in Nellore, he often visits Tiruvuru seeking financial assistance.
Recent investigations uncovered that Mallikarjuna traveled from Nellore to Tiruvuru two days ago and has been moving around Vijayawada since Sunday morning. During this time, he is believed to have made the threatening calls to Pawan Kalyan’s office.
