Survey Launched on Alleged Land Encroachment By Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy’s Family

A fresh land survey has commenced to probe allegations of illegal land encroachments by YSRCP leader Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy’s family. The survey spans 146.75 acres along the Chittoor-Kurnool National Highway in Chintakomma Dinne Mandal, YSR district. Initial findings indicate that around 55 acres belong to government and forest departments, but were allegedly occupied by Sajjala’s family members.

As per official land records, the disputed land includes:
71.49 acres registered under Sajjala Sandeep Reddy
16.85 acres under Sajjala Janardhan Reddy
21.46 acres under Y. Satyasandeep Reddy

While earlier revenue surveys classified a significant portion of this land as government property, the forest department has denied any ownership claims, leading to conflicting reports.

Legal Battle Over Survey

Challenging the survey, the Sajjala family moved the High Court to halt the process. However, the court ruled in favor of continuing the survey while instructing officials to ensure that existing structures and crops remain unaffected. To oversee the process, a three-member team from the Revenue, Forest, and Survey departments has been appointed, and the survey officially began on Thursday.

Pawan Kalyan Orders Inquiry into Alleged Encroachments
In a parallel development, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has initiated an investigation into reports that the Sajjala family illegally occupied nearly 200 acres of forest and DKT (assigned) lands in Sugalibeedi village, CK Dinne Mandal. The allegations suggest that these lands were acquired under benami names during the YSRCP government’s tenure.
